Ochna flowers! Konad M19 + M31 + S9 and Elianto -Racing Green

Ochna integerrima is the spectacular yellow flowers which is very popular in southern Vietnam where the plant is purchased during traditional Vietnamese New Year.

Whenever we see these flowers sold on the street, we know New Year is nearby. When I was a kid, I loved seeing this plant because I knew Im gonna have Hong Bao ( Li Xi) and a long school holiday for about 10 days.

The more I grow, The less happy I am, as I dont get Li Xi anymore but have to give Li Xi to the kids...hix..
Just kidding...Anyway, today I am happy that I have done this design with Ochna image.

First, I apply one layer of OPI Start to Finish as base coat.

Then, apply 2 layers of French Tip using Konad M19 and Elianto- Racing Green. This is my new polish I just bought today from Elianto store for only RM8 (USD 2.5). How cheap it is...got 20% for this item. Love it!!

Note:
the reason I apply 2 layers is because it looks too thin and does not show much glitter in it. If your hand is steady enough, I guess u could just paint you tip without using Konad M19.

Ochna flower on Konad M31 is the one I use next. I apply using White Konad speacial nail polish .

Last image plate i used was Konad S9 on middle finger.

And a few dots to make it not too empty. I dont have the proper tool for this one. I use the ballpoint pen which I found it quite useful. I dip it in the White paint once and apply several dots without reapplying paint. The dots will get smaller with each dot since less paint will remain on the pen.

Finally, one layer of Opi Start to Finish. And....Im Done.

Many different colors you can apply for this design. It just came up in my mind with Red tip and Yellow Ochna design for this coming new year. hehehe.... It would look great and stand out i guess.

Well thats all for today! Thanks for stopping by and have a nice day.
